WHY I'M RUNNING
I benefited from growing up and living in a city where people support one another. The people of Cambridge have shaped my values. They are values I hold dear: supporting your neighbors, helping others, and a commitment to public service.
I have given back to my community as a parent, teacher, an advocate for working people, and for the last two years as one of your City Councilors.
I am deeply invested in this city and the success of its residents. With your support, we can help bridge the old and new so that we can move forward together with a vision for the future that preserves the best of our past.
I humbly ask for your #1 vote for Cambridge City Council on November 7th.
Paul Toner is a lifelong Cambridge resident, former Cambridge Public Schools teacher, lawyer, and union leader, and for the last two years has served as one of your At-Large Cambridge City Councilors. He lives in the North Cambridge home of his great-grandfather, with his wife, Susan Connelly, and their children Grace and Jack.
ISSUES & PRIORITIES
Paul believes in using the power of politics to help people - especially those most often left out and left behind. If re-elected, he will continue to fight every day for the people of Cambridge and work to ensure we are building a community that gives every resident the opportunity to grow and thrive!
Paul is proud to have the support of so many incredible leaders, organizations, and labor unions from across Cambridge who know he has been a champion for our community, tirelessly working towards making our City an even better place to live, work, and thrive.
