“Paul will be an incredibly effective advocate for all of Cambridge. Paul has spent his career bringing people together to make progress towards a vision of shared priorities and a government that works towards equity for everyone. I know he will do the same as City Councillor. Please support Paul on November 2 with your #1 vote”.
David Maher, former Mayor and Cambridge City Councillor
"I am voting Toner #1 for City Council. Paul is just the kind of person we need. He knows the city, it's neighborhoods and the challenges we face.
Along with his education background, he understands government and has had the opportunity to work at the municipal and state level to develop consensus building skills, the art of negotiation, and compromise. Skills that make a good councillor. He is a great candidate and deserves your vote!"
Sheila Russell - Former Mayor and City Councillor

“I first met Paul Toner in 2017 on the campaign trail while we were both running for City Council. During that time Paul was a collaborative and supportive fellow candidate. His commitment to Cambridge and its residents is evident when I hear him talk about growing up in Cambridge, raising his family here, and his deep belief in public service. I am endorsing Paul because I think he brings a collaborative and solutions oriented style of leadership that we need in our public discourse. Paul is someone I trust and admire and I hope you will join me in supporting him.” - Sean Tierney

He will be a problem solver and consensus builder. Paul will bring a balanced and pragmatic approach to the city council. I hope you join me in supporting Paul Toner for Cambridge City Council."

We believe that increasing housing, creating more affordable housing, and enhancing tenant protections are critical to ensuring more people can live here and stay here — our goal is to increase access to the opportunities our city provides, regardless of background or income.
18 years ago, as President of the Cambridge Teachers Association, Paul encouraged me to get involved in our union. He has been a stalwart member of our Ward 11 Democratic Committee longer than I have. Cambridge needs to do better for families with small children by expanding access to early education. As an advocate for early education, I believe Paul can help. Paul was instrumental in creating the Tobin Montessori program. We need more programs like this for our children and families.
“I am supporting Paul Toner for Cambridge City Council because integrity matters. I worked side by side with Paul as a fellow teacher and his commitment to his community and students was front and center. He has the ability to bring people together and develop new ideas for our common good.” Rhonda Greene, Webster Avenue Resident
